Pacific-slope Flycatcher

What makes the species name for this bird so appropriate?

Pacific-slope Flycatcher_b_Fotor

The term, difficilis, is Latin and means “difficult.” The Pacific-slope Flycatcher is difficult to distinguish from the similar Cordilleran Flycatcher.(Could the identification of this sighting need correction?)

Group names are rather fun- “outfield”,”swatting”,”zapper”, or a “zipper” of flycatchers.
